UMBC’s mobile application offers a convenient way to access a variety of resources provided by the university.

Primary Features:

1. No Login Required: Access all features as a guest.
2. Easier Sign-On: For account holders, log in once to the UMBC app and subsequently use Touch ID or a 4-digit PIN for quick access. (*Feature not available for users employing DUO second factor authentication.)
3. Personalized Content: The app showcases tailored content and resources for logged-in users.

The app is organized into four tabs to facilitate navigation:

1. Home: Stay updated with the latest announcements from myUMBC or the UMBC homepage. Easily access information or explore the mobile-friendly site for necessary resources.
2. Search: Effortlessly find people, departments, groups, and more all in one place. The search function displays your recent searches, trending topics, and your myUMBC favorites. Moreover, it features a QR code scanner to navigate campus posters and signs.
3. Places: Discover details about locations nearby such as hours, offices, maps, upcoming events, and more. Explore the campus map, locate buildings, track buses, or find dining options.
4. Events: Stay informed about current campus events or browse through upcoming event calendars.
